Our Desktop, Web and Programming interface offers up to date Royal Mail Address data, which you as a reseller can earn 15% commission from the First Sale and Yearly Renewals either by:

Selling our Desktop/Web Software Direct to your customer

Resellers can open accounts on behalf of the end customer, and opt to:

  • be invoiced, you then invoice the end customer
  • have the customer invoiced direct by us. The reseller then receives commission at the end of each month, when over £100.

Integrating our Functionality into your software

Offer the end user the option of opening an account when they activate your software.  See section below.  The Reseller then receives commission at the end of each month when over £100.

Put a link on your Web site/News Letter to receive commission.

We can generate a special "Promotion Code", which you offer to the end user as a "10% off first purchase". When the end user enters this code, then you earn the commission on first purchase and all renewals.

This is ideal for resellers who want to offer our services as part of an online software package. Using this the whole offering can be automated.

  Please note it is a requirement of the Royal Mail that each individual legal customer have their own account, and licenses must be bought under those accounts.


How to create customers under your reseller account


As mentioned above we offer several different methods of allowing a reseller to create customer accounts for use with postcode finder address services.

The data key is then e-mailed to the end customer.  They should then be able to put that in their software to enable their account.

Allow customer to open an account with us and link to reseller account


This is probably the simplest method.  To allow customer to open an account and link to your reseller account:

Where 4 is your reseller ID given to you after opening a reseller account.

The data key is then e-mailed to the end customer.  They should then be able to put that in their software to enable their account.

After opening the account the customer will have access to their own account, which you will also have access too under the "Reseller" tab in your account.  See screen shot below.


Create Customer from Online Reseller Account


To register a customer, to receive commission, simply log onto your account and press [Add new Customer] under the "Reseller" tab. Then create the customer account. You and the customer will be sent an e-mail, unless you have opted for direct Contact, which contains their License ID/Data Keys.

The License ID is then used by the Desktop software to identify the customer (see below).   

The Data Keys are needed when accessing the data via one of our programming methods or Web Pop-ups.

Simply Postcode Customer list

If a customer should already have created an account, then please raise a support question with as much detail as possible to identify them, we can then link them to your account, and if need be back date the commission.

Use License ID for our Desktop software

Install desktop postcode software on customer’s site.

For our Desktop Software, simply enter the License ID and Password for the account to Identify the account you have created under your reseller account.

 



Use the “Customer Reseller Portal” via SOAP Web Service


This SOAP web service allows a reseller to:

  • Create customer account, under your reseller account, with instant 30 day evaluation access to our address data
  • Edit customer accounts record owned by reseller
  • Purchase Internal use, user licenses for customers
  • Purchase Internal use, credit packs for customers
  • Purchase External use, credit packs for customers
  • Reset test purchases on an account
  • Get current price of the above licenses
  • Get the status of a customers license/licenses

Thus allowing zero administration for the reseller.

License Renewals Report:


A report is available, under “Reseller >> Reports” tab, which lists all your customers those license is due to expire.

Simply click on [Renew] to create a new activation code, to extend the license by one year, which takes you through a similar process to above. This can be created a few weeks before the license expires.

When do I get Paid Commission?


Calculated commission will be paid when over £100, at the end of each month. Or if you have opted for "Direct Contact", then your commission is deducted at the point of sale, and you pay the invoice for your customer, thus we have no direct contact with your customer.   


How do I know what I have earned?


Simply log onto the web site, under your "Reseller" tab select the "Commission" tab, this shows your outstanding commission.


My customer has lost his/her password. How do I change it?


Simply log onto the web site, select customer from left-hand menu, the password is displayed in the Account details


How do I install on Desktop Software on customer remote Laptops?


Simply copy the installed directory, ZipPostcodeLookup directory by default, from network to Laptop

Run ClientInstall.exe.   This will install all necessary files on Laptop and put in startup group


How do I un-install the Desktop software?


Simply run "UnInstallClient.exe" from the installed directory, ZipPostcodeLookup directory by default, from PC

To un-install from network after un-installing each PC.  Simply delete the ZipPostcodeLookup directory.
