COM Object in Local Mode Download Data:

To use the COM object in local mode, the appropriate encrypted data files should be installed.

Required:
	Microsoft MDAC 2.5	Must be installed on each PC to access data
		Most modern Windows PC's and servers will have this loaded already. To down load type "Microsoft mdac download" in to Google Our install program "InstallSimplyPostcodeCOM.EXE" includes this install, this is in the root directory of the Programming Example downloads.

Required one of:
	Full PAF	PAF_FULL.dat
		(105 Mb, expands to 500Mb updated monthly)
	Thoroughfare (Street)	PAF_THOURGHFARE.dat
		(43 Mb, expands to 240Mb updated yearly)
	PostZon	PAF_POSTZON.dat
		(45 Mb, expands to 270Mb updated yearly)

Updates to data can be applied, using MANAGER.exe, which will download and apply updates using the internet.

We can supply the initial data on CD-ROM, at an additional charge.

How to install Local Mode files:

The required files for the local mode should be download from above, together with the appropriate data file/files. The contents for the ZIP files should be then extracted to a directory, shared by all PC's which require Postcode Lookup, and this directory specified by calling LMSetDataPath(DataPath)

The COM Object will then retrieve data from the local files.

Licenses should then be purchased from our self's, to allow you to access the data. Then run MANAGER.EXE and press the [Add New License] button. This will give you a key which must be quoted to us. Please ring 01945 464854 to receive your unlock key, which should then be entered to unlock your local version of the software.
